Here I am again, awake and surfing the net for ways to advertise my new site. It will be interesting to look back on this blog in a few months or even a year and see the road I took to expanding my business.
One of my great ideas that I am currently working on:
I set up an html page on my hard drive with all my info listed on it. It's not notes scribbled down in a spiral notebook, it's a page complete with links, usernames, and passwords. Every morning I wake up and open that file. I just start clicking and checking. I look at my email, my domain, my counter, my shopping cart, credit account, about 5 different forums, several places I have found to advertise my soap site, and now, this blog. It takes me a few hours but then I get up and create more soap or lip balm. Then it's time to break for lunch around noon, and I usually eat lunch right at my laptop. After that full feeling goes away I get up and start my exciting housework. Let me tell you, with all the feet walking through this house it tends to get dirty fast.
Well thats enough of a peek into the first half of my day.. let me show you some soap I made last week. I actually pureed a cucumber and added it to this batch. I used a bit of cucumber fragrance to boost the scent and some chlorophyl (from plants) to boost the green. If you look close you can see tiny little flecks of cucumber peel. Here they are freshly cut, right before I polished them.
